Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a global score of 69.2, which is much better than Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi's 58.5 global score. Samsung ATIV Tab 5's construction is a lot heavier and extremely thicker than the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi. Both tablets in this review come with Windows OS, but the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has an older 8 version while Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi has Windows 8.1.
Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi has a brighter screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution and much more pixels per inch of display. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi also has a larger number of cores (but slower) and a 64-bit processor. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a way better battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 costs a lot more money than Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
