Comparison review
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is slightly better than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, getting a 59.7 score against 57.6. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) construction is way newer and noticeably lighter, but also a little thicker than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has Android 4.4.2 version, giving you a lot of extra features.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has a much better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a larger screen, a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a much greater number of pixels per display inch. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a greater amount of RAM. The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T takes much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a camera with lot more mega pixels and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

Although Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is a better device, it costs more money than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
