The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, with a global score of 65.7 against 57.6. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has Android 4.4.2, providing lots of additional features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) construction has the same thickness than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, but it is a lot lighter.

The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T features a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a lot better 1600 x 2560 resolution, a larger screen and a much greater pixels amount per screen inch. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Both of them have a Quad-Core CPU and a 2 GB RAM memory.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) shoots way better photos and videos than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
