Comparison review
The Xperia Tablet S is slightly better than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, with a overall score of 58.9 against 57.6. The Xperia Tablet S design has the same weight than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, but it's much thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Xperia Tablet S has the older 4.1.1 version while Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has Android 4.4.2 version.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has a much better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a little bigger screen and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Sony Xperia Tablet S features a very superior memory for apps and games than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has more internal memory.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T features just a little better performance than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Sony Xperia Tablet S has a battery life that is just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T one.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a way less MP resolution camera in the back.
Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
