Comparison review

Acer Predator 8 has a score of 57.7, which is a bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 global score. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Acer Predator 8 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, providing you a couple nice extra features and increased performance. Acer Predator 8's design is way newer, somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Asus Transformer Prime.

Acer Predator 8 has a bit sharper screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Acer Predator 8 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Asus Transformer Prime captures much better videos and photos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera. Asus Transformer Prime counts with more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Acer Predator 8, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Acer Predator 8 counts with a much longer battery duration than Asus Transformer Prime.
