The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is much better than the Asus Transformer Prime's score of 56.3. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.4 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, giving you a lot of extra features and better performance. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is incredibly newer, way lighter and noticeably thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a way better display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much greater display pixel density and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
