The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is much better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a 62.2 score against 56.3. Asus ZenPad S 8.0's construction is a lot newer, noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a brighter screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a little faster CPU than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a battery duration that's just as good as the battery life in Asus Transformer Prime. The Asus Transformer Prime captures much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenPad S 8.0. Both have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same video quality.
