Comparison review

Huawei MediaPad M1 has an overall score of 61.5, which is slightly better than the Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 general score. The Huawei MediaPad M1 construction is newer, notably lighter and notably thinner than Asus Transformer Prime. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad M1 has the newer 4.2.2 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, so it provides some nice extra features.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a sharper screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a better pixel number per inch in the screen. Asus Transformer Prime has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 56 GB more internal storage.

Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit faster processor than Asus Transformer Prime. Both of them have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 1 GB RAM. The Asus Transformer Prime counts with a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a very superior battery performance than Asus Transformer Prime.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Huawei MediaPad M1 is also by far the cheapest.
