The LG G Pad 8.3 is better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a overall score of 65.9 against 56.3. LG G Pad 8.3's construction is newer, thinner and extremely lighter than Asus Transformer Prime. These tablets include Android OS, but LG G Pad 8.3 has a more recent 4.4 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3.

The LG G Pad 8.3 features a bit better processor than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a much sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and much more pixels per inch of display.

LG G Pad 8.3 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, a tinier aperture and a way worse 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
