Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has an overall score of 63.4, which is better than Asus Transformer Prime's score of 56.3. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is newer and somewhat thinner than Asus Transformer Prime's, although it is also heavier. Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Asus Transformer Prime counts with Android 4.0.3 operating system.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with just a little better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has more RAM. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because it has a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a better pixels count per inch in the display and a quite bigger screen.
Asus Transformer Prime captures much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a much higher 8 MP resolution camera. The Asus Transformer Prime has a greater memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
Microsoft Surface 2 and Asus Transformer Prime have extremely similar batteries.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Microsoft Surface 2 is also a bit cheaper, making it an easy decision.
