Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is much better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a 62.5 score against 56.3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE design is just a little heavier but thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has older 3.1 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3.

Asus Transformer Prime features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a larger number of cores (and faster). Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a little bit better screen than Asus Transformer Prime. They have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, a same size screen and the same display density.

Asus Transformer Prime takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a much higher 8 MP resolution back facing camera. The Asus Transformer Prime has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 32 GB and more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a really longer battery performance than Asus Transformer Prime.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
