Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a little bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime, with a 58.1 score against 56.3. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Asus Transformer Prime were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is thinner and just a little lighter. Both devices we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has newer 4.0.4 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, so it provides a couple additional features.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit more vivid screen than Asus Transformer Prime. Both have a screen with the same size, the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution and the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display. Asus Transformer Prime has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of cores.

The Asus Transformer Prime features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 32 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Asus Transformer Prime features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same video definition, the Asus Transformer Prime also has faster 30 fps video frame rates and a camera with a much better 8 megapixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a very superior battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is not only the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
