Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a little bit better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a 60.7 score against 56.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a notably lighter tablet than the Asus Transformer Prime, but both of them are equally thin. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has 4.1 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.

Asus Transformer Prime counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a bit better screen pixel density.

Asus Transformer Prime has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video quality and a much more megapixels camera. The Asus Transformer Prime counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 64 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a really longer battery duration than Asus Transformer Prime.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is also a bargain compared to others.
