The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a score of 67.8, which is way better than Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 general score. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, offering lots of additional features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a much newer portable tablet, and it is also notably thinner and lighter than Asus Transformer Prime.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a little faster CPU than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features just a bit better screen than Asus Transformer Prime. They have a same size screen, the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
Asus Transformer Prime features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a SD card slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a superior battery performance than Asus Transformer Prime.
The Asus Transformer Prime captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
