Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime, getting a overall score of 60.4 against 56.3. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) body is notably newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
