Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is much better than the Asus Transformer Prime, having a 62.8 score against 56.3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it's also extremely lighter and a lot thinner than Asus Transformer Prime. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, so it gives a couple additional features and enhanced performance.
Asus Transformer Prime counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a slightly higher 800 x 1280px resolution and a bigger screen. The Asus Transformer Prime has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 4 processing cores.
The Asus Transformer Prime has a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
