The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 general score. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a much newer tablet, and it is also extremely lighter and just a little thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, providing a couple additional features and a performance increase.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a little better performance than Asus Transformer Prime, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Asus Transformer Prime features a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active 2. Both of them have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video quality.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a very superior battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.
