The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a global score of 64.9, which is much better than Asus Transformer Prime's overall score of 56.3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a much newer tablet device, and it is also much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. These tablets work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version.

The Asus Transformer Prime has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Asus Transformer Prime also counts with a bigger display. Asus Transformer Prime counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a SD extension slot that admits 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

Asus Transformer Prime features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a superior battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.
