Comparison review

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a 74.5 score against 56.3. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a much newer tablet device, and it is also notably thinner and much lighter than Asus Transformer Prime. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, providing you some additional features.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features an incredibly better looking screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 and much more pixels per display inch. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a little better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and faster).

Asus Transformer Prime takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab S 8.4. They have the same video definition, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera. Asus Transformer Prime counts with a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Prime.

In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
