Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet S is slightly better than the Asus Transformer Prime, getting a general score of 58.9 against 56.3. Even though Xperia Tablet S is thicker than Asus Transformer Prime, it's a bit lighter and newer. These devices include Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet S has newer 4.1.1 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, offering some extra features and performance tweaks.

Xperia Tablet S features a little faster processor than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Tablet S also has an additional graphics processor. The Sony Xperia Tablet S features a little sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also counts with a bit higher screen pixels density.

Asus Transformer Prime features a greater camera than Xperia Tablet S. They have a same resolution back-facing camera. Xperia Tablet S features a battery lifetime that's just as good as Asus Transformer Prime's battery performance.
