Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is slightly better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, having a score of 63.4 against 62.2. Although Microsoft Surface 2 is better than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, it must be told that it is also older, incredibly heavier and extremely thicker. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a higher 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. Both have equal 64 GB internal storage. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a back facing camera with much more MP. The Microsoft Surface 2's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery life in Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
