Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a bit better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, having a score of 65 against 62.2. Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is better than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, it must be noted that it's also a much older, notably thicker and way heavier tablet device. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher display pixel density and a much higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a really longer battery life than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
