Comparison review

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab E, getting a overall score of 62.2 against 60.7. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is a a lot thinner and a lot lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab E, although both of them were released with only a few months difference. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a much greater pixel quantity per inch of display. The Galaxy Tab E has a bit better camera than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, although it has a lot lower (HD) video resolution and a much worse resolution camera.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has 56 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E counts with a much better battery duration than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
