Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is much better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, having a global score of 74 against 62.2. Although Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch and the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 were only released with a couple months difference, Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch's design is thinner but notably heavier than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1536 x 2048px, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also counts with a bit greater pixel density. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch feature quite similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, they have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB and equal internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch's processor is very similar to Asus ZenPad S 8.0's processor, because although the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with an 8 megapixels resolution.
Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch counts with a much longer battery life than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
