Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a global score of 62.2, which is slightly better than the Sony Tablet S's 57.5 score. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is a noticeably newer tablet device, and it's also way lighter and extremely thinner than Sony Tablet S. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better number of pixels per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048px.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a faster processor than Sony Tablet S, because it has 3 GB more RAM and a greater number of faster cores. Sony Tablet S features a bit better camera than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, although it has a lot less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a much worse video definition.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has much more storage to install applications and games than Sony Tablet S, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB. The Sony Tablet S counts with a much longer battery performance than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
