Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has an overall score of 74.6, which is much better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0's 62 score. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a lot newer than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, it is just a little heavier and just a little thicker.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a just a bit better pixels count per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features just a bit better performance than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a little bit more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) takes way better photos and videos than Asus ZenPad S 8.0. They have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
