The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is slightly better than Asus ZenPad Z8s, with a overall score of 65.7 against 62.6. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) design is somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker than Asus ZenPad Z8s. These devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus ZenPad Z8s has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Asus ZenPad Z8s features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a greater number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM. The Asus ZenPad Z8s has a better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) captures much clearer photos and videos than Asus ZenPad Z8s, although it has a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenPad Z8s, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB.
