Blackview OSCAL Pad 18 is slightly better than OSCAL Spider 8, with a global score of 66.1 against 64.4. Blackview OSCAL Pad 18 is a a lot lighter and thinner portable tablet than the OSCAL Spider 8, although both were only released with a few months difference. Both devices in this review include the same Android 13 OS (operating system).

The Blackview OSCAL Pad 18 features just a little better performance than OSCAL Spider 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Blackview OSCAL Pad 18 also has a larger amount of RAM. OSCAL Spider 8 counts with just a bit better display than Blackview OSCAL Pad 18, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1200 x 1920px and the same brightness, the OSCAL Spider 8 also counts with a bit better display density.

OSCAL Spider 8 features a better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Blackview OSCAL Pad 18, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. OSCAL Spider 8 has a much longer battery life than Blackview OSCAL Pad 18, because it has 13000mAh of battery capacity instead of 8800mAh.

OSCAL Spider 8's camera is very similar to the camera in Blackview OSCAL Pad 18, both have a 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
