Blackview Tab 18 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), getting a score of 71.2 against 65.7. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Blackview Tab 18 has older 13 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie. Blackview Tab 18 is a much newer and somewhat thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), but it is incredibly heavier.

The Blackview Tab 18 features a faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and also faster). Blackview Tab 18 features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much better resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels, a much larger screen and a little better count of pixels in each screen inch.

Blackview Tab 18 counts with a much greater memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 240 GB more internal memory capacity. The Blackview Tab 18 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 76 percent bigger battery size.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) captures better photos and videos than Blackview Tab 18, although it has a back camera with a much worse 8 megapixels resolution.
