The Blackview Tab 18 has an overall score of 71.2, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8's 62.6 overall score. Although the Blackview Tab 18 is newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, it's heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Blackview Tab 18 has newer 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
Blackview Tab 18 features a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Blackview Tab 18 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Blackview Tab 18 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a little inferior number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 2000.
The Blackview Tab 18 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB, the Blackview Tab 18 also has 256 GB internal memory. The Blackview Tab 18 has superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab A8, because it has an 8800mAh battery size instead of 7040mAh.
The Blackview Tab 18 has a better camera than Galaxy Tab A8, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
