Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a global score of 60.5, which is slightly better than the Blackview Tab 8's 57.1 general score. Galaxy Tab A 9.7's design is much lighter and somewhat thinner than Blackview Tab 8, although it was released many years before. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version and Blackview Tab 8 has Android 11, counting with a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
Blackview Tab 8 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, way more pixels per screen inch and a quite larger screen. The Blackview Tab 8 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
Blackview Tab 8 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a camera with a way higher resolution. The Blackview Tab 8 has more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Blackview Tab 8 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a 6580mAh battery capacity.
