Comparison review
The Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch is slightly better than the Dell Streak 7, getting a 47.3 score against 43.6. Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch has Windows 8.1 OS, and Dell Streak 7 comes with Android 3.2 OS. Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch features a little more vivid screen than Dell Streak 7, because it has a much higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a bit larger screen and a better quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch has a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Dell Streak 7, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Dell Streak 7 features a very superior processing power than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch, although it has an inferior number of cores.
Dell Streak 7 and Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch count with incredibly similar battery durations. Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Dell Streak 7, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels, the Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch also has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution.
