Dell Venue 8 7840 has a score of 61, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 overall score. These tablets include Android operating system, but Dell Venue 8 7840 has an older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Dell Venue 8 7840's design is somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a superior hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit processing unit.
