Comparison review
The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro is slightly better than the Dell Venue 8 7840, getting a 64.3 score against 61. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro has 5.1 version while Dell Venue 8 7840 has Android 4.4 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro's design is incredibly heavier but way thinner than the Dell Venue 8 7840.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 features a bit more vivid display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1600px resolution, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels in each screen inch. Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a better performing processor than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a higher number of cores , a GPU and a 64 bits processing unit. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Dell Venue 8 7840, because it has a camera with way more mega pixels.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro features a much longer battery duration than Dell Venue 8 7840.
Although Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Dell Venue 8 7840, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Dell Venue 8 7840. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Dell Venue 8 7840, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
