Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a general score of 65, which is a bit better than Dell Venue 8 7840's 61 general score. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS, and Dell Venue 8 7840 works with Android 4.4 OS. Although it's the best we compare here, Samsung ATIV Tab 3's construction is incredibly thicker and extremely heavier than the Dell Venue 8 7840.
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a really superior performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has an extra graphics co-processor, a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a 64-bit CPU. The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixels density and a lot higher 2560 x 1600 resolution.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 features a bit more memory for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has just 16 GB internal memory. Samsung ATIV Tab 3's battery duration is very similar to the Dell Venue 8 7840 one. Dell Venue 8 7840 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
