The Dell Venue 8 7840 is slightly better than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, getting a 61 score against 57.5. The Dell Venue 8 7840 is a thinner but just a little bit heavier tablet than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Dell Venue 8 7840 has a more recent 4.4 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, offering a couple nice extra features.
