The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a global score of 61, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 general score. These tablets have the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system), so they should provide the user very similar operating system features. The Dell Venue 8 7840 is a much thinner and lighter tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab E.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 features a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels amount per display inch and a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution. The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has 16 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
