Comparison review
Galaxy View 2 is just a bit better than the Dell Venue 8 7840, having a 65.3 score against 61. Despite being the best we compare here, Galaxy View 2's body is incredibly thicker and way heavier than Dell Venue 8 7840. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy View 2 has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Dell Venue 8 7840 has Android 4.4 version.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and way more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy View 2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Dell Venue 8 7840, because although it has an external memory slot that admits up to 400 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
Dell Venue 8 7840 features a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has less CPU cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a superior battery performance than Dell Venue 8 7840.
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy View 2.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Dell Venue 8 7840, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Dell Venue 8 7840. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Dell Venue 8 7840, letting go some specs and features.
