Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 10 has newer 5.1 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 5.0 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and performance improvements. Despite being the best we compare here, Google Nexus 10's construction is extremely older, incredibly heavier and thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

The Google Nexus 10 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster). The Google Nexus 10 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much greater pixels density, a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a bigger screen.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Google Nexus 10 counts with a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 9000mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.

The Google Nexus 10 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Google Nexus 10 also has a way higher (Full HD) video definition.
