Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a global score of 70.8, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's score of 61.5. Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s design is just a little bit lighter but a little bit thicker than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and both of them were released only 7 months apart. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, giving some additional features.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a GPU and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more vivid display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.
