The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s 70.8 global score. These tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has an older 4.4.2 version while Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version. Even though Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) and Google Nexus 7 (2013) were released only a few months apart, Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s design is noticeably heavier but a little bit thinner.

The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a bit better looking screen than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a much larger screen. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same number of cores, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a better 450 MHz GPU.
