Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a global score of 70.8, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's global score of 58.1. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a much lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but both are equally thin. These devices come with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing a couple additional features and a performance increase.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater pixel amount per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920. Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 both feature incredibly similar storage to install applications and games, they have the same 32 GB internal storage.
