The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a score of 70.8, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s general score of 60.7. Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s design is newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). These devices work with Android OS, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a same size display, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a much higher screen pixels density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has an extra GPU, a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
