The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), getting a 70.8 score against 69. Even though Google Nexus 7 (2013) is extremely older and a little thicker than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), it's design is still lighter. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has older 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has Android 11.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better screen pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a bit superior CPU than Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 5100mAh battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) counts with a bit better camera than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has a back-facing camera with much more MP.
