Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a global score of 74.6, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s 70.8 overall score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a noticeably newer and thinner tablet device than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it is just a little heavier.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also counts with a just a little higher pixels amount in each inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a bit faster CPU than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) costs a little more than Google Nexus 7 (2013), but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
