The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a overall score of 70.8 against 60.5. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but it is somewhat thicker and was released only 22 months before. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has an older 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of display. Google Nexus 7 (2013) costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
