The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, with a 70.8 score against 62.6. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) construction is much lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it is incredibly thicker and was released 9 years before. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater display density and a little bit higher resolution of 1200 x 1920. Galaxy Tab A8 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better performance than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a back-facing camera with much less MP resolution.

The Galaxy Tab A8 counts with a much better battery duration than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity instead of 3950mAh.
