Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than Google Nexus 7 (2013), getting a 79 score against 70.8. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a noticeably newer portable tablet than Google Nexus 7 (2013), but it's thicker and heavier. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a more recent 10 version while Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a little better processing power than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also counts with a little higher pixel number in each screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes much clearer photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a back facing camera with a way higher 13 MP resolution and a lot better video resolution.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has greater battery life than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 5050mAh battery capacity instead of 3950mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7 (2013). So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Nexus 7 (2013), giving up some specs and features.
