Comparison review
The Google Nexus 9 is a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a general score of 74.5 against 67.9. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 9 has a more recent 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version, providing you some additional features. Even being the best in this comparison, the Google Nexus 9 design is a little thicker and heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit more vivid display than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly higher 1600 x 2560px resolution. The Google Nexus 9 features a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has an inferior number of cores, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bits processor.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, because it has more internal memory capacity. Google Nexus 9 has a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Google Nexus 9 has a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and video in poorly lited environments, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera in the back.
The Google Nexus 9 not only is the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
