Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has an overall score of 75.5, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 9's 74.5 general score. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is a way newer portable tablet, and it is also a bit thinner and lighter than Google Nexus 9. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has 8.0 Oreo version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0 version.
The Google Nexus 9 features a little sharper screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a quite inferior pixels number per inch of screen and a little worse resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Google Nexus 9 counts with a little faster processing unit than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has less and slower cpu cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Google Nexus 9 has improved battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a little bit better camera than Google Nexus 9, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
